Chemical fibers are fibers with textile properties made from natural polymer compounds or artificially synthesized polymer compounds through processes such as preparing spinning solution, spinning, and post-processing. The length, thickness, whiteness, and luster of fibers can be adjusted during the production process. And they have advantages such as light resistance, wear resistance, easy washing and drying, non moldy and non insect infestation. Widely used in the manufacturing of clothing fabrics, filter fabrics, conveyor belts, water hoses, ropes, fishing nets, electrical insulation wires, medical stitching, tire curtain fabrics, and parachutes. Polymer compounds can generally be made into solutions or melts, pressed out of the fine holes of the spinneret, and then solidified into fibers. The product can be continuous filaments, short fibers cut into a certain length, or uncut tow. The trade name of chemical fibers is temporarily stipulated in China to be "nylon" (such as nylon and polyester) for synthetic short fibers, "fiber" for cellulose short fibers (such as viscose and copper ammonia fibers), and the word "silk" is added at the end of long fibers, or "nylon" or "fiber" is changed to "silk"
