This standard specifies the limits, test methods, sampling, and inspection rules for vinyl chloride monomer, soluble lead, soluble cadmium, and other volatile substances in polyvinyl chloride artificial leather. This standard applies to PVC artificial leather (hereinafter referred to as artificial leather) produced using PVC resin as the main raw material and appropriate additives through coating, rolling, and composite processes, whether foamed or non foamed, with or without a substrate. 2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents become clauses of this standard through reference in this standard. GB/T 2918-1998 Standard Environment for Conditioning and Testing of Plastic Specimens (idt ISO 2911997) GB/T4615-1984 Determination of Residual Vinyl Chloride Monomer Content in Polyvinyl Chloride Resins Method 3 requires 3.1 Vinyl Chloride Monomer Limit. The content of Vinyl Chloride Monomer in the PVC layer of synthetic leather should not be less than 5 mg/kg. 3.2 The soluble lead content in soluble heavy metal limited artificial leather should not exceed 90 mg/kg, and the soluble cadmium content should not exceed 75 rng/kg. 3.3 The content of other volatile substances in other volatile substances limited artificial leather should not exceed 20 g/square meter

4 Sampling Rules

4.1 shall be executed according to relevant product standards. If there are no sampling regulations in relevant product standards, 4.2 to 4.4 of this standard shall be executed. 4.2 Randomly select 1 roll of sample from each batch of products. 4.3 Remove the outermost three layers of the sample roll and extract, taking a 1 meter cut along the length direction of the product. 4.4: After the sample is extracted, it should be sealed in a non polyvinyl chloride plastic bag and placed in a cool place without any special treatment
