Invented in 1941, it is currently the largest variety of synthetic fibers. The biggest advantage of polyester fiber is its excellent wrinkle resistance and shape retention, as well as its high strength and elastic recovery ability. It is sturdy, durable, wrinkle resistant, and non greasy. Polyester fiber has a series of excellent properties, such as high breaking strength and elastic modulus, moderate rebound, excellent heat setting effect, and good heat and light resistance. The melting point of polyester fiber is around 255 ℃, and the glass transition temperature is about 70 ℃. It has a stable shape under a wide range of end use conditions, and the fabric has washability and wearability. In addition, it also has excellent impedance (such as resistance to organic solvents, soap, detergents, bleach, oxidants) and good corrosion resistance. It is stable to weak acids, alkalis, and other substances, making it widely used in clothing and industry
